Boris Krivokapic


Prof. dr Boris Krivokapić was born in Belgrade on 16.11.1958.

He is one of leading experts in the region in the field of Public International Law and Humanr Rights, in particular Minority Rights. He is a full-professor of University.

Prof. Krivokapić graduated from the Faculty of Law at Belgrade University (1979), where he also earned his M.B.A. (1985) and LL.D. (1988).

He is the author of over 40 scholarly books in the field of Public International Law, Human Rights and Comparative Law and over 150 scientific articles, published: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Poland. Serbia, Slovenia, South Korea, former Soviet Union, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, former Yugoslavia...

He worked as leader of the project of expert on many procejcts for  various Yugoslav/Serbian Governments, ministries etc., foreign academic institutions, Organization for Security and Co-opration in Europe (OSCE), Council of Europe, United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) etc.

1996 – Charter from the Institut of Comparative Law (Belgrade) on the occassion of 40 years of the Institute;
2005 -  Award class A1 for distinguished results in science. Awarded by Serbian Ministry of Science.
2006 - Award “Prof. dr Borislav T. Blagojevic” for the best book on Comparative and European Law,
published in Serbia & Montenegro in the period 2004-2005;
2011 - Award “Best Author” for 2011, by "Sluzbeni glasnik", Belgrade (the biggest publisher in the Balkans).



Basic data

Professor Krivokapic has been studing, practicing and teaching Martial Arts since 1974.

In 1974-1983 he practiced Judo (5,5 years), Ju Jitsu (3 years) and Karate (4 years). In 1983. he turned to WTF Taekwondo (he is one of founders of Taekwondo in Serbia). Since 1993 he has been practicing Hapkido, and since 1994. Hapkikwan. Since 2002 he fully developed himself to practicing Hapkido and development of Hapkikwan.



Prof. Krivokapic is Grandmaster 10th  Dan Hapkikwan.

He also holdes several Grandmaster and Master levels (of 10th, 9th, 8th etc. Dans) in several other Martial Arts (Jujitsu, Taekwondo etc.) recieved by some two dozens of international martial arts federations from all the continents. Among other ranks, he has 6th Dan Hoshinkido Hapkido.

In younger days, he was one of top Serbian taekwondo fihters. On the First Championship of Serbia (1987) at age of 30,  he took second place and silver medal in Middleweight division (at that time it was -83 kg). After that he was 5 time champion of Yugoslavia and 5 time champion of Serbia in forms (individual), and severeal times vice-champion of both Yugoslavia and Serbia (in team performance).

In various terms of office prof. Krivokapic hold the highest positions in the national (Yugoslav/Serbian) taekwondo federation. He was President of the Federation, Secretary General, Sport Manager, President of Black Belts Board etc. On international level he was member of Executive Committee of Balkan Taekwondo Union (BTU).

Between 1996 and 2003 Boris Krivokapic was coach and treainer of national teams of Yugoslavia and Serbia in forms.

Among other matters, in 1989. he graduated with excellent marks at the national Institute of Physical Education (Novi Sad) and got official diploma of Taekwondo trainer.

Prof. Krivokapic has been Taekwondo instructor since 1987.
After founding and coaching few clubs before, in 1994. he founded Taekwondo Club “Red Star” (Belgrade) and was its head coach until 2002. During that period his students won over 300 medals from official championships, including 2 first and 1 second places on the Championships of the Balkans, 59 individual titles of Champion of Yugoslavia, 40 individual titles of Champion of Serbia etc. In the same period, prof. Krivokapic and his students won 6 titles of Team Champion of Yugoslavia and 5  titles of Team Champion of Serbia.

Prof. Krivokapic participated in many international and national martial arts seminars. He also conducted some two dozens martial arts seminars in Serbia and neighboring countries.

Among other matters, in 1994. prof. Krivokapic got Korea Foundation Fellowship and spent 2 months in Seoul (Korea) where he every day practiced Moo Lim Won Hapkido as personal student on of leading Korean Master, GM Choi Sang Heum, Founder of Moo Lim Won Hapkido and President of Moo Lim Won Hapkido Federation.

-    President of Hapkikwan International
-    coach and trainer of all national teams of Serbia in Hapkikwan and Hapkido

-    representative of Serbia with the World Martial Arts Union (Korea)
-    representative for Serbia of over two dozens international martial arts federations with headquarters from all the continents
-    President of Hoshinkido Hapkido Serbia
